Microsoft Office is a suite of application used by over a billion people worldwide. It was announced at COMDEX in Las Vegas by Bill Gates on the 1st of August 1988. The first version of Microsoft Office only came with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Microsoft Office has evolved over the years to incorporate other well-known applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access and Microsoft OneNote.
