Access Essentials Course

Course Overview

The Access Essentials course is conducted over 2 days and is designed for people with no prior knowledge of Microsoft Access or relational databases. This course introduces relational database concepts and architecture which is the cornerstone of any database design. Once the table schema has been constructed and enforced students will be able to enter new data via forms, analyse the data using queries and present the data for presentation or printing using reports. With a solid grounding in the fundamentals of database design, students are able to implement their newly acquired skills from the training when developing Access databases in the future. With time and practice, the sky’s the limit.

Who Should Attend This Course

This course is targeted at students with no prior knowledge of Microsoft Access or relational databases. As a result of this course students will gain a solid understanding of relational database concepts and terminology and with time and practice be able to build a database, manipulate table data, create basic queries, forms and reports.
